San Francisco, California, May 2009. This is a shot from my inaugural trip to the annual How Weird Street Faire. I had a blast, and hope to make the outing a yearly one. With regard to this particular participant, he may have been the oddest of the bunch; he was running around like a madman, stopping here and there to pose for the camera. My friends and I probably ran into him a half-dozen times throughout the day.

On another note, this was my first time out with the new Canon 5D Mark II. (Can you believe I'd been slumming it with a 20D all this time? Yeah, me either.) More on that later once I've had a bit more time to put this beast through its paces.
