Brain states and the nature of experience

And they will say that none of what the uploads say matters. Therefore, you have to have very good scientific evidence to show that this is not the case. Mental states are physical states. The brain states in a human constitute its subjective experience. The question is whether a particular whole-brain simulation will have experience and if it does, how similar is this experience is to that of a human being?
